Past Service Animal Organization Endorsements

Special thanks to supporting Service Animal organizations who have chosen to endorse the ACVO/Stokes National Service Animal Eye Exam. Their members are invited to participate and benefit from the complimentary eye examination being provided by one of our over 260 participating boarded veterinary ophthalmologists in the USA, Canada and Puerto Rico. Please support these organizations and help us thank them for their participation.

We would also like to extend a warm thank you to all the Primary Care veterinarians who have referred their Service Animal clients to participate. The health of animals is greatly improved when physicians work together. An animal’s Primary Care veterinarian and a board certified veterinary ophthalmologist make a great health care team.
More information on how your primary care veterinarian can get involved.

Due to referrals from supporters and general practice veterinarians, over 52,000 Service Animals have received free screening eye exams since the event's inception in 2008. Ophthalmologists generously donated over $1.6 million dollars in services to this community. Thank you all for your support!

If you would like to endorse a future event, have us link to your web site and/or invite your certified Service Animals to participate, please contact the ACVO office.

Event Goals:

  • To preserve the sight of those who serve us all selflessly
  • To strengthen referral relationships with general practice veterinarians
  • To benefit those who rely on Service Animals; individuals and society

SUPPORTING ORGANIZATIONS

(UPDATED ANNUALLY)

Special thanks to our non-profit Service Animal organization partners. They will be promoting this event to their collective memberships and inviting them to participate free of charge. Without their assistance we would struggle to get the invitation out to Service Animals and their owners/stewards.

Please support these organizations and their causes. Contact our office if you would like your organization listed and linked here.
