On May 23rd, as part of the 2011 ACVO/Merial Service Dog Eye Exam Event, Drs. Andrew Greller and Bob Munger examined over 100 working military dogs at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Special thanks to Dr. Michael Paulsen and COL Kelly Mann, DVM, and his staff for making the arrangement that allowed the ACVO to provide this service to these valuable dogs.

This event occured in 2009 at the same base where over 150 dogs were screened. If you know of any other base facilities around the country that would benefit from a similar screenig event, contact the ACVO and we will investigate the arrangements.
